What clients ask us about the Google profile
I already have a profile, but nobody has touched it in ages. Can you take it over?
Yes. If the profile exists and belongs to the company, you give us access and we build from there. If Google created it automatically and nobody has claimed it, we claim it in your name through a verification Google runs: usually a code by phone, email or post. It takes between a few days and two weeks, depending on the method Google asks for.
What does it cost and how is it paid?
You choose between two options. You can pay once, for the complete setup: we take over or create the profile, carry out the Google verification, fill everything in and hand it over. After that it is yours and there is nothing further to pay. Or, if you would rather not deal with it yourself, you ask us for updates when you need them, and those are charged separately based on what you ask for. We do not tie you into a monthly subscription. You get a personalized quote in 1-2 working days.
I have several locations. Can they be managed together?
Yes. Google allows grouping several locations under the same business, and we set them up from one place: each with its own hours, address and photos, but with a consistent description and presentation. The quote is based on the number of locations.
How long until I see a difference?
The first changes are usually felt 4-8 weeks after the profile is completed, because Google starts showing it on more local searches. How high you appear also depends on how many businesses compete for the same service in your city, and on how steadily new reviews come in. We cannot promise a specific position.
What do we do about negative or fake reviews?
To the genuine ones we reply publicly and calmly, with the solution you offer: people reading later see that the business responds and resolves things. Reviews that break Google's rules, for instance from someone who was never a customer, we report and follow up. The decision to remove them belongs to Google, not to us, and it does not always go through.
